Hey folks, this Wednesday is another BlowUpRadio.com Presents FOLK YOU! show happening at
Rodeo Ristra
230 Washington St, Hoboken, NJ (201)216-1550
*****THIS IS A FREE SHOW*****
Featuring
Ciampi ~ Ciampi is a trio based in northern Jersey. Ciampi likes melody, but isn't afraid to rock. Ciampi isn't metal, hardcore, or emo. Ciampi is simply rock. Check them out in this rare performance as an acoustic duo.
The Atom Beat ~ A tragic loss to the local music scene happened earlier this year when The Atom Beat played their last show as a full band. But not to worry, they still pack the same punk meets rockabilly energy into their performance as a duo. And the Atom Beat is fronted by the Blitzkrieg Bonanza's own, Jim Cook.
Souls' Release ~ Well really in all honesty I can't say much about what this band sounds like because even I have not heard their music yet, but this new band is made up of 2 excellent musicians that have been around the scene awhile: Josh Van Ness who fronted the band Van Ness, his own solo band and was the drummer for the Crayons, and Nick Ferriero former lead guitarist of the Crayons as well as playing guitar in Josh Van Ness' solo band. They describe their music as, "intimate rock with an edge", and their live show as, "warm and energetic."
John Raido ~ John Raido is a singer/songwriter that has a strong foundation in traditional country and folk stylings. He wrote, sang, played all the instruments and self-produced his new CD, "see you next Tuesday" (which incidently is the "Album of the Week" here at BlowUpRadio.com). Come see him play his intimate music in this intimate setting.
The fun begins at 9 sharp! Don't be late!
BlowUpRadio.com's Album of the Week is John Raido's "see you next Tuesday"
