Message From Lazlo

Hey Everyone,

I've spent the bulk of tonight working on updating the website, so I'm going to keep this message, short, sweet and to the point :)

So I've been getting questions about the future of Folk You!, and it's great to know that so many people love the series of shows as much as I do. Unfortunately, Folk You! is currently without a home. I will soon begin actively searching for a new home for the acoustic shows and when one is found Folk You! will return. So be on the lookout for that in early 2005.

Due to a shortage of space in the new Upstage Magazine, the top 10 shows list I made up (that I spoke about a couple of weeks ago both here and, at much greater length, on my blog), did not get published. So I have posted it on my blog on My Space.

On the blog you will also find some "on first listen..." MP3 reviews. I am going to try to put some more small blurb reviews up as time permits. I ask that you please don't bombard me with e-mails to review you band. I wish I had time to review everyone, but realistically I don't. But when I sit down to listen to some local music and have time to jot something down about it I will.

Make sure you check out the webcast. Lots of new songs were added this week, and that mixed with the already great mix of local music makes an even greater mix!

That's all for this week folks! So to quickly recap:

- Folk You! is looking for a new home
- My top 10 concerts of 2004, "on first listen" MP3 reviews and random other posts are on my blog.
- Check out the cool new tunes on our webcast (and vote for us while you're listening).

Peace,
Lazlo
