BlowUpRadio.com & Jersey Beat present Folk
You! @ the Goldhawk Sept. 22nd

Message From Lazlo

Hey Everyone,

Lots to talk about this week, so let me just start off by thanking everyone involved with both shows BlowUpRadio.com co-sponsored this weekend. That includes, our co-sponsor WRSU, Indigo Coffeehouse, Crossroads, Arlan Feiles (who gets special thanks for filling in on 24 hours notice for the ailing Chris Pierson, who we'll get back in for a show soon), Michelle Vecchione, Gary Paul Hermus, Dacks, Echofission, and Souls' Release (btw, their new CD, "through the feeling", is our Album Of The Week this week).

This Saturday is a HUGE free all-ages daytime concert in SICA's parking lot. "Summer's Last Blast!" starts exactly at 1pm and will run right up until Folk You! begins at 8pm, inside SICA.

Here is the flyer with all the artists performing:

Don't miss this show! It's going to be incredible!

SICA is located at 20 Third Ave., Long Branch, NJ.

Last week marked the return of BlowUpRadio.com Live, and this week marks the return of another program I used to do...

Lazlo's Den

That's right, it's the return of Lazlo's Den to Upstage Radio. This Thursday, and every Thursday, tune into Upstage Radio at 8pm, to hear me playing some of my favorite bands from around the world. This week's show includes music as diverse as Amy Correia, Iggy Pop, Will Hoge, Teenage Fanclub, Deflator Mouse, Ben Harper, and much, much more. In the coming weeks I'll be mixing in more indie music from outside of the Garden State, so if you you know a band from outside of NJ that's looking to get on the radio (internet radio that is), tell them to get in touch with me.

~~~
And lastly, but in no way least important...
donate now
This is going to be big folks. 33 different bands and muscians came together to help out with this benefit webcast. Donating their time, music and messages. Please, tune in when it airs, but donate now. Every little bit makes a difference and can help.
When the official airdate is set, I will let everyone know.
Support Local Music! Support organizations helping those affected by the disaster of Hurricane Katrina!
Peace,
Lazlo
About Souls' Release
Rising from the ashes of their former projects, Souls’ Release is a phoenix for its members. Founded in 2003, this New Jersey based quartet brings forth rock & roll as it should be: powerful, emotional, truly driven from inside.
Joshua Van Ness, Nick Ferriero, Jonathan Andrew, and Sean Calcamuggio work together to create some of the most refreshing rock music of their generation. Fusing elements of classic rock, funk, grunge, and more, the band has truly developed a sound of their own...
