As you probably know I thought New Year's Eve would be the final broadcast for BlowUpRadio.com's internet radio station component. That is what Live365 had stated in their e-mail to their broadcasters. However, as of this writing, our internet radio station has not been shut down. It is possible it could stay up until January 31st (at which time if they do not find new financial backers they said they were closing for good), but it is also possible our internet radio station component could be shut down at any time this month.
First, I want to thank everyone who was a part of our New Year's Eve broadcast (and of course everyone who was listening). It was a very emotional day for me, but spending it with so many musicians made it a really fun day, a day I hope to remember as fondly years from now, as I do right now.
Second, I am already working on ways to continue doing live broadcasts like that, as well as other ways to continue promoting good music that do not require an internet radio station.
The first of these is our new BlowUpRadio.com Presents New NJ Music program!
It will no longer air on our internet radio station, because it could be shut down at any time (if we get confirmation Live365 is not going under, it will return to the internet radio station).
Instead, our new BlowUpRadio.com Presents New NJ Music program will be listenable on our website, and will be a playlist with embeds of the different songs from each artrist's social media pages.
I know it is not the same, but you'll have 24/7 access to listen each week, and each show will be archived, so you can go back and listen to it any time. You will also be able to click directly on the links while streaming the music and go directly to where you can purchase the album.
