Banding Together month got off to a great start Saturday at the Clash Bar!
Amazing live sets from The Subterraneans, Miss Ohio, John The Gun, The Brixton Riot, and The Anderson Council, and we raised a lot of money for the Spondylitis Association Of America!
Big thanks to those bands, the Clash Bar, and Joe Pugsley (Pyrrhic Victory Recordings, The 65's), who put this event together!
Joe, incidentally, will be playing our afternoon show at the Middletown Public Library this Saturday.
As you know, each year I do these benefits for the Spondylitis Association Of America because it is so important to me. This genetic disease affects an estimated 2.7 million Americans, my wife being one of them, but does not get
the same attention so many other diseases get.
"SAA is the leading nonprofit organization in the US dedicating 100% of its resources to improving the lives of spondylitis patients and their families."
I hope you can make it out to one, or more, of the Banding Together shows happening in October.
