Outliers & Cold Fires: Hat & Boots

"I’m not sure what the future will bring, but it's time to move on from this year and embrace the unknown. Helping us along the way is Woodbury, New Jersey's Hat & Boots (aka Timothy Bretschneider) with his track "From Here". His beautiful tenor gently reminds us about our humanism and personal conflicts, in which we strive to endure. For me, discovering new music is like re-discovering oneself. So yes, there's more out there to see and hear. I'm excited for what lies ahead and I look forward to the new Hat & Boots record come 2017. "I wrote "From Here" after taking a major step for myself. A step that took a lot of preparation, thought, and confidence I wasn't sure I even had. But suddenly, I was there. And suddenly, I wasn't sure that all of that preparation was worth it. I still felt just as lost as I'd ever been - maybe more so. Should I be here? Should I go back where I'm from?
