2. MESSAGE FROM LAZLO

Notice anything different on blowupradio.com? No more banner ads. That's right, no longer will you be mesmerized by the spinning credit card, or be bombarded by ads to download Pink's new song. It's costing me a bit of money, but like my friends in Particle Zoo say, "it's not for us, we do it for you. Yep, it's for the people."...

...1982, Reagan was in the White House, MTV was in it's infancy and the NJ music scene received a big boom of media attention thanks to the creation of Jersey Beat magazine. That's right, 20 years ago Jim Testa started Jersey Beat magazine, and with any luck 20 years from now we'll be celebrating the 40th anniversary of Jersey Beat. Yesterday I was at one of several shows Jersey Beat is doing to mark the 20th Anniversary, and if you missed it, make sure you don't miss the next one, because a good time was had by all...

...That's really all I have to say this week (I'm not feeling verbose), but watch this space for some info in the coming weeks about some cool shows that are in the works to celebrate my birthday next month. Yes, I know it takes a large ego to think anyone cares that my birthday is almost at hand, but it's a great excuse to get some bands together for what is going to be an awesome rock 'n' roll orgy. But maybe I've said too much...
