2. MESSAGE FROM LAZLO
Ok, it's late on Sunday night, so I'll keep it short this week. Why am I running so late in writing this? Well, as I mentioned last week, I've been busy planning a couple of concerts to celebrate my upcoming birthday. All I can say right now is keep Saturday May 11th and Saturday May 18th open, as you will not want to miss the cool shows being planned. More info soon...
...Lots of cool stuff happening on blowupradio.com this week. Tuesday night @ 9pm make sure you tune in to check out another installment of Hanging with the Band. This special installment not only includes an interview with Josh Van Ness, but also a special in-studio acoustic performance of 4 songs, including a brand new song, "goodbye", never heard anywhere before. This candid interview and performance will re-air on Saturday @ 12 noon, several hours before his CD release party @ the Baggot Inn in NYC.
Wednesday night is Val Emmich night on blowupradio.com. @ 7:30pm we bring you yet another installment of Hanging with the Band, featuring an interview with Val Emmich and his former Ben Trovato and once again current drummer, Eric Micali. Immeditaly following the interview @ 9pm will be another installment of @ the Show featuring Val Emmich recorded live @ Plum St Pub on 4/11/02. This is an excellent solo acoustic show where he plays several brand new songs written during his trip to L.A. On several songs he is joined by special guests including: Jason Kundrath (Hero Pattern), Ralph Capasso (Small a.m.), Carla Parisi (the Swimmies) and our host of Artist Amp Live, Andy Gesner.
That wraps up all the news that's fit to print this week. More info on my two Birthday Bashes next week.
