So I am sitting here watching the Grammys, and it's funny that everyone I've spoken to about the Grammys, as well as myself, think the only reason to watch the Grammys is for the performances. This is why last night's big BlowUpRadio.com Acoustic Music Marathon at Images Night Club, cut out all the speech and award crap and just got to the great performances. Thank you to all 20 artists that played as well as the staff of Images Night Club and everyone who came out last night for making this night an overwhelming success. Special thanks to those who showed up early and stayed late and supported each and every act that played.

Because when it comes right down to it, besides being extremely entertaining, this is also about supporting one another. BlowUpRadio.com is here to support the scene, play local music and put on as many local shows as possible, but it thrives because of the support of each and every one of you tuning in, coming out to the shows and staying for all the bands.



This coming Saturday (March 1st), is the date of the first BlowUpRadio.com show at the Cup Complex. The show is also the first BlowUpRadio.com Blitzkrieg Bonanza show. That's right, Blitzkrieg Bonanza's Jim Cook will be co-hosting this show with me. And what a show it is going to be, with live sets from:

Bastards of Melody
Particle Zoo
and
Fairmont

The fun begins at 10pm and Women get in free all night

The Cup Complex is located at 1410 E. Elizabeth Avenue, Linden, NJ.
