BlowUpRadio.com presents Lazlo's Birthday
Show!

Message From Lazlo

Hey folks, this Wednesday marks the 1 year anniversary of BlowUpRadio.com's FOLK YOU! show happening at
Rodeo-Ristra
230 Washington St (next to McDonalds), Hoboken, NJ (201)216-1550
*****THIS IS A FREE SHOW*****

And this special edition of FOLK YOU! has a special line-up:

Tommy Anton ~ Originally from Austin, Texas, now resides in Asbury Park, NJ, singer-songwriter Tommy Anton has lived the life of a musical nomad touring for the last 9 years. His songs celebrate self-transformation and conscious evolution. Tommy is believed to hold the record for playing with the most bands in one night at the world famous Stone Pony. See him play solo (and who knows maybe with some other artists) in this rare north Jersey appearance.

John Taglieri ~ Picking up a guitar at age five was the first step for John Taglieri, and he hasn’t looked back since. He has been playing and recording music professionally since the age of 15. Come out and see John perform tracks from his recent release, “Half & Half”, a half live, half studio CD celebrating Taglieri’s love for the acoustic guitar and live performance. With the live tracks being pulled from various shows over a two-year period, and the studio tracks being various cuts from his present and past, the CD is a collection of tender love ballads, in your face rockers, and deep songs about life.

Jon Dacks ~ As the singer/songwriter behind the trio, DACKS, Jon Dacks is leading a new movement of acoustic rock bands…no boundaries, no rules and plenty of attitude. Jon Dacks reveals his own experiences and beliefs while speaking through the many different characters in his songs. "I pick up my guitar, close my eyes and my imagination is the key that unlocks the door…when I step through one door, another opens."

Souls' Release ~ A fledgling band with many miles behind... Souls' Release may be a new band (formed in 2003), however founding members Joshua Van Ness and Nick Ferriero have played together on many stages across the U.S. The two artists met in 2000 while in separate bands. Their admiration for one another's style prompted them to share a few jam sessions. What resulted was a 2-year stint of playing together in several acoustic and electric projects. Adding drummer Ryan Allen and bassist Jon Andrew rounds out their melodic sound.

The fun begins at 9 sharp! Don't be late!

In other news, look for a special e-mail Thursday evening with a big announcement regarding my birthday bash May 1st at the Court Tavern. Trust me, you'll not want to miss this announcement or the show!

Peace,
Lazlo
