BlowUpRadio.com &
Upstage Magazine rock the Court Tavern Feb. 11th

Message From Lazlo

Hey Everyone,

Lots of big news this week, so let's get right to it.

1. The BlowUpRadio.com & Upstage Magazine co-sponsored show at The Court Tavern has been rescheduled for Friday February 11th. We are sorry to say that BRUCE TUNKEL with Maybe Pete and The Commons are no longer able to be part of the show due to scheduling conflicts. We will try to get them back in for another show soon.

The new line-up is:
Tall
Days
Bastards of Melody
THE MARBLES
What About Frank?

So come out and support the local music scene on Friday February 11th. I guarantee this will be a great show!

2. Over the course of 2004, BlowUpRadio.com added 12 live MP3s to the website:

Alana Q - stuck
Danny Roselle - simply more
Gibby & Rad - face the blame
Jeff Devito - edge of oblivion
Jim Testa - queer eye
Jon Andrew - me and someone else
Jon Dacks - I will be here
John Raido - that's all right
Josh Van Ness - for you
Lanky - firecracker
Paul Crane - did you know
Souls' Release - the wheel

All of these wonderful MP3s will be removed from the site next week to make way for some new special things on the site that will be unrolled soon. So I highly recommend if you haven't already downloaded these rare live tracks, that you go HERE and download them right now.

3. Last week I hinted I'd have some news soon about Lazlo's Den. Well, now is the time to break this news.

As many of you remember, Lazlo's Den was a totally free formatted show I used to do, first on BlowUpRadio.com, and later on it's own website and webcast. Last summer it disappeared and much to my surprise many people have been asking about when it might return ever since.

Well this week it returns to the virtual air waves, as a new internet radio station goes live on AsburyMusic.com, and among the many fine local webcasters (including several musicians from within the scene), will be myself and the return of Lazlo's Den as a weekly, totally free-form radio show, much like Vin Scelsa and the late-great John Peel before me. So when you aren't listening to BlowUpRadio.com (why aren't you???), go to AsburyMusic.com and listen to Lazlo's Den and other fine programming on their webcast.

4. There are some brand new "at first listen...CD reviews" on my blog, so check them out.

Peace,
Lazlo
