Message From Lazlo

Hi Everyone,

Happy Memorial Day. On this day, please take a moment to remember the brave soldiers who died protecting our country. I may be strongly anti-war, but I strongly support and respect those that have fought for our country, and I hope regardless of your stance on war, that you do also.

~~~~~~~~~~
I apologize for the lack of a newsletter last week. Between spending all last weekend at the Wave Gathering, a review of which you can read on my blog, and then my wedding anniversary on Monday, there just wasn't time to get the newsletter out.
But we're back this week, and we've also redesigned BlowUpRadio.com. Now when you go to www.BlowUpRadio.com you will see BlowUpRadio Productions and have the option of going to BlowUpRadio.com or Lazlo's Den.
Why the change? Well a lot of people were confused as to the two different sites and if both were done by me, so now you can access both sites under the bigger banner of BlowUpRadio Productions.
Does that mean there are more sites or "productions" in the works? In the immediate future, no, but I do have some more music related ideas that, if time permits, I'd like to try at some point.
~~~~~~~~~~

While I was working on BlowUpRadio.com, I redesigned the main page. Hopefully it is cleaner and more eye catching now. I also removed a lot of pages that were not being updated regularly and had a lot of outdated information. Let me know what you think, e-mail me at Lazlo@BlowUpRadio.com.

~~~~~~~~~~
One last update for this week, BlowUpRadio.com is proud to have exclusive tracks from Funch's forthcoming CD, "...robots will kill you!!!
Every week we'll be adding a new track to BlowUpRadio.com for you to download.
This week's track is, "requiem for a dying world"
Peace,
Lazlo
The Successful Failures - 'The Successful Failures'
The fledgling roots-rock/hi-fi-pop band, The Successful Failures, of FDR-label owner and Dipsomaniacs' singer/songwriter Mick Chorba (left) has come of age and flown.
Originally created to be a solo lo-fi side-project by Chorba with alt-country overtones (listen to track 12 – “Hick Bars”), The Successful Failures evolved into a full frontal assault of a band with a sound reminiscent of Guided By Voices, Superdrag, and The Shins mixed with the jangly pop sounds of artists such as Marshal Crenshaw and The Moberlys.
