Message From Lazlo

Hi Everyone,

This week I've just got a few updates for you. Next week I'll have more info on both BlowUpRadio.com shows taking place: Folk You! on Wed. Feb. 7th, and BlowUpRadio.com's Free Concert on Sat. Feb. 10th. You can go to their respective My Space pages for more info now (Folk You! My Space page / BlowUpRadio.com Free Concert My Space page).

First up this week is the announcement that BlowUpRadio.com is once again accepting some limited banner ad advertising on the website. The ads will be on the Jukebox page, and also on the main page. The cost is $31 for the ad to run for a month. I only plan to accept a maximum of 4 ads per month. The thought is not to make a profit, just to recoup my costs of running the website and webcast. If you are interested in running an ad, please e-mail me.

The Jukebox has become a rousing success on BlowUpRadio.com! Make sure you get your vote in for your favorite song.

Jon Caspi - maybe I - 28%

Jon Andrew - me and someone else - 18%

Fairmont - suspicion haunts the guilty mind - 8%

Geb & John from Echofission - monsooned in Guam - 3%

Downshallow - Spanish lard - 1%

Kate Hart - maybe tomorrow - 0%

Readymade Breakup - starting to end - 0%

Grover Kent - running out of Ramones - 0%

Jim Testa & John Raido - blow up your radio - 0%

The Anderson Council - Pinkerton's assorted colours - 0%

It just so happens that our current front runner, Six To Eight Mathematics, will also be my guest on Lazlo's Den tomorrow night (Tuesday 1/30/07). Make sure you tune in to hear this special in-studio performance.

Finally, check out the new issue of Upstage Magazine (or click here to read the story on-line). Gary Wien conducted an interview with me regarding BlowUpRadio.com's 6th anniversary.

And while you're there, add your name to the petition to help save the Wonder Bar, a great place for local live music in Asbury Park that is being forced to close it's doors on March 17th.

Peace,
Lazlo
