Hey Everyone,

Tuesday night on Lazlo's Den we spend New Music Tuesday with The Break Evens in studio, playing cuts from their new CD, and talking about the album and other things.

One of those us things led to an impromptu writing/playing of a song for/about Felicia Day (The Guild, Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog, Dollhouse).

You can go to or right now to stream & download "Felicia Day Song Parts 1 & 2", then tune in to Lazlo's Den Tuesday at 8pm ET to find out the context of the song.

Concert Picks Of The Week

Lazlo (

Friday night The Ugly Club play at the Crossroads in Garwood. While I've never seen them live, I recently described their 2 song demo as, "Part big band throwback, part blues, part soul, 100% rock!"

Jim Testa (Jersey Beat)

Saturday, August 29
THE ROADSIDE GRAVES, The New Dress - Court Tavern, 124 Church St. New Brunswick - 10 pm, $8, 21+

Metuchen's Roadside Graves are still touring behind the release of their excellent 2009 release My Brother's Home, one of my favorite albums of the year. The New Dress is an acoustic duo with a punk edge.

Pissed Off!

Are Robert Zemeckis & Disney taking a little "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"?

We do not need a remake of Yellow Submarine.

Please sober up and do not make yet another unnecessary remake.

That's all for this week folks.
