Tis the season, fa-la-la-la, and all that stuff.
But seriously, I know a lot of people are out shopping for gifts this time of year, and I would just like to remind you that supporting local businesses is important, and so is supporting local bands.
A local mom & pop business relies on holiday sales to keep them going throughout the year and to keep them open.
A local band relies on holiday sales to help fund them throughout the year, so they can continue to record music and play out (as many bands lose money when they gigs, because of costs for gas, etc.)
And just like stores, many bands are doing holiday sales on their music and merchandise.
Music and merchandise make great presents!
