Hey Everyone,

This Friday is's 14th Anniversary Bash at the Court Tavern!

Have to give big thanks to David Fagan (from Ipswich Down & Snowball 37), who put this show together.

The show features the insanely amazing lineup of Ipswich Down, September's Ghost, Casino Sundae, The Centennials, & Black Sox Scandal!

Unfortunately, the Court Tavern has raised the cover charge from $5 to $10, but $2 per band is a damn good deal, especially for bands this good!

Doors are at 8pm, bands start shortly thereafter.

Hope you can make it out to celebrate 14 years of supporting NJ's local original music scene.

This week's Lazlo's Den Presents New Music is all New Jersey Music! See info below.

Lazlo’s Corner

14 quickly they go by (well, almost 14 years, technically we started on December 15th, 2000).

It seems like just yesterday I was working as a part-time DJ at a rock radio station, bored, disheartened, ready to give up being a DJ altogether.

I tried, and failed several times, to sell the station I worked for on doing a show about the local music scene. They had the nerve to argue that if the bands were any good they'd get signed and then we'd play them.

If they don't get heard, they will never get that break!

I was spending most of my free time seeing local bands at small bars, and had watched good bands come and go, a few get signed, only to have the label not promote them, most only known by a handful of people.

I wanted to change that.

I found my opportunity in internet radio. may never get huge ratings, but if by doing this I can spread the word about good music to a few people, I'm cool with that.

In fact, I'm more than cool with that. This is my calling in life, to Support Good Music!
