Lazlo's Corner If you've been to my website, or read my tweets, in the last two weeks you know I've been going through all the stages of dealing with the forthcoming Trump presidency, which I am pretty livid about.

I've decided it is time to do something positive, and furthermore, something to help bring our music community together.

I am working with some NJ indie labels and NJ media people like myself to put together a compilation of original songs (please, no covers) that in someway showcase activism, social issues, or protest, you know songs to counteract the fear, bigotry, racism, xenophobia, etc., that Trump has fostered. This can be taken somewhat loosely, so if you have any questions, please let me know.

Maybe you have a song already recorded that is perfect for this, or maybe this past week has inspired you to write something that might be a perfect fit for this.

We are trying to do this quickly, with the hope of having a digital release on inauguration day (1/20/17). which means we'd need songs by 12/31/16 to have a couple of weeks to piece everything together.

100% of the money made from this compilation would go to one or more causes (like Planned Parenthood, The Trevor Project, etc.) Feel free to suggest a cause that you think may be adversely affected by the incoming president, as the causes are not set in stone yet.

If you are interested, please let me know as soon as possible. if you have any questions, also please let me know.

We can't change the outcome of the election, but we can help some causes that are going to need help over the next 4 years, while simultaneously coming together as a music community! A win-win!
