Lazlo's Corner

December 15th marked's 16th anniversary. It is crazy how quickly the years fly many amazing bands have come and gone in that time, and how many new amazing bands keep forming.

With the quality of music that continues to come out of the Garden State, my hope is that even when I am gone (hopefully not for many years) will still be around to support good music from NJ (and the rest of the world with Lazlo's Den...though after I'm gone that will likely need to be renamed LOL!)

While, with the closing of Live365 this year, no longer has an internet station, we have found new ways to continue to promote music.

This week we introduced the latest new way to promote good music coming out of New Jersey, Artist Profile Playlists!

Each Artist Profile Playlist spotlights a New Jersey act, by putting together 15 of their songs (about 1 hour's worth of music), a sort of primer of the music of that act. Some of these acts will be defunct, but put out wonderful music during their time that needs to be remembered. others will be acts that are new, or still making new music. There will also be a short bio, a link to the act, and links to interviews or live recordings that has in the archives (that are public...we have a ton of recordings in our archives that are not publicly available...yet...)

So far we have posted Artist Profile Playlists for Blisstique, Catherine Wacha, The Paper Jets, Particle Zoo, and

This week we will be posting a new Artist Profile Playlist every day! After this week we hope to post one or more a week.

We have already made a few modifications to the appearance of the Artist Profile Playlist pages based on your feedback. Please keep the feedback (positive or negative) coming!

As always, thank you for your support of We are nothing without people like you!
