Lazlo's Corner

Someone asked me this week what I want to be remembered for... and I wondered if they knew I was dying, because I don't think I am (I mean we all are slowly, but I don't expect my death to be immenent).

Anyway, when I am gone I really don't care if, or how, people remember me, because I won't be here.

What I do hope, and I think I have said this before, is that people remember the music I've tried to shine a light on with BlowUpRadio.com (and I hope someone continues BlowUpRadio.com).

There is so much amazing music here in New Jersey (and local indie artists around the world) that don't have the publicity to get noticed on the scale they deserve. BlowUpRadio.com may also have a small footprint, but over nearly 24 years we've built a community.

I know musicians who met each other and formed bands because of BlowUpRadio.com.

I know people who discovered artists they had never heard before that they are now huge fans of.

And with events like our annual Banding Together webathon for the Spondylitis Association of America (more info below), I am able to raise money for a cause very personal to me, while also showcasing dozens of talented musicians, in what is always our biggest listened to programming on BlowUpRadio.com.

I have probably said this tons of times, but I can't say it enough. I am very lucky to be able to do BlowUpRadio.com, and there are not enough thanks that I can say to the musicians whose music I am lucky enough to play, and the people like you who listen to the station and read this newsletter.

THANK YOU!

~

Below is the first information about this year's Banding Together benefit webathon for the Spondylitis Association Of America, airing on BlowUpRadio.com October 18th-20th.

I am so excited for the amazing lineup we have for you this year!

And I would like to point out, since we are over a month away, there is still room if people are interested in performing and/or donating a song to the compilation.

BlowUpRadio.com's 2024 Banding Together Webathon For The Spondylitis Association Of America Celebrates 17 Years With Annual Benefit This October

South Amboy, NJ - New Jersey internet radio station BlowUpRadio.com - Where NJ Rock Lives, announces its 17th annual Banding Together Webathon to benefit the Spondylitis Association Of America. Taking place Friday October 18th through Sunday October 20th on their internet radio station, over 30 acts from New Jersey and all over the globe will perform half hour performances, as they raise money to fund research and provide the programs and services to help the community suffering from this debilitating disease.

During Banding Together BlowUpRadio.com will have a link to a special donation page on the Spondylitis Association Of America's website. Every donation of $10 or more will get an exclusive download of this year's compilation featuring over 30 previously unreleased songs.
